Well, Sparty came to play to win today. They were bold and made some really tough plays on 3rd down. They had the lead and the ball and still faked a FG with any eye on extending the lead- not assuming the D would take care of things. Really love that about Sparty.

What about Sims? Is there a connection I'm missing? EDIT: I guess the 3 year losing streak alone is big news!

BTW, the Clones' last two games are very winnable. KU and WVU are also loitering near the bottom of the "big" 12.

ISU will win both and the fans (all 3 of them) will claim it's a big momentum builder for a great season in 2014. Mark it down.
