[meaning]

I mean, I'm glad when the trolls take a vacation ... but I don't want those teams to lose. I don't really care. but, if pressed, I want all teams from this state to win (obviously, when it's time to choose between them, I'm taking my school).

Since we already lost to ISU and UNI I'd just prefer to see them win as much as possible until the NCAA tournament. After the tournament starts I will still root for UNI to win.

We all know power-5 conference seasons are a grind. Losses, especially unexpected losses happen.

We generally don't recruit the same guys, so how they do only means one thing to me: it helps our SOS. We were at 26TH best SOS as of today. They helped that. Granted, shutting up some of the smack makes ISU losing somewhat satisfying.

As for ISU, as soon as we realize Monte Morris is the best player on our team and quite possibly the best PG in the country the better. When we build a lead he needs to have the ball in his hands every possession and melt the shot clock. Too many quick shots late in the game with the lead. We need to learn how to put teams away. That starts with leaning heavily on Monte. The most composed cyclone player I can remember and the kids only a soph. That being said still in good shape for a 3-4 seed just need to get hot at the right time of year and we are fine.

He has already said he is coming back for his junior Season. Not only is he a soph he is young for his class. No rush he can improve his draft stock. And if you don't think he is widely considered at minimum a top 5 PG in the country you are misinformed.

Kind of a big difference between top 5 and best. The point does stand though he's the best player for ISU will be interesting to see how Fred replaces him when the time comes.

Of course Monte Morris is the best said every cyfan and no one else ever. I in no way acted like we beat Wisky. I did act like we won which UNI and ISU were unable to do yesterday. I'm sure you've never seen anybody over at cyfan rejoice over a Hawkeye loss. Of course you called them out. If Morris is the best player why is cyfan pushing Georges for Big 12 player of the year. Of course that was before he made the mistake that a 5th grader wouldn't have made and cost them the game.
