Iowa State Game Predictions

Iowa: 31 ISU: 10

The D Line will finally start making some sacks and finishing tackles, and the offense will improve on the ground. I wouldn't be surprised if we get up a couple scores to see the offense strictly pounding the ground to improve that running game. The last drive Coker played, he looked a little bit better than the atrociousness that was the first two drives.

You can't. Iowa did what most expected them to do yesterday, and that was dominate Tech without showing too much. The most exotic Iowa got yesterday was the bubble screen to McNutt, but that play has long been a staple of the Iowa playbook under Ferentz even if it hasn't been seen recently.

We won't know anything concrete about this Iowa team until after the Pittsburgh game.

Damn you were handed 6 turnovers in that game, I could have played tackle for Iowa in that game. Didnt Iowa start their drives on like the 50 yard line? AA was your MVP.

maybe you should suit up and help out your team. from the sounds of things, they need warm bodies.
 
ISUer is going to reach 1000 posts this week alone running his mouth about how ISU will beat Iowa. Hopefully after Iowa wins easily Jon will ban his dumb*ss...

Of course you consider Tennessee Tech "one of the worst FCS schools in the country" because they played Iowa but if they played Iowa State, you'd be on here stating "Tennessee Tech is one of the BEST FCS schools in the country."

You and your kind are the most hyperbole fans I've ever seen. And that's pretty amazing considering it's ME saying that!

BTW, I see one of your kind said "James Vandenberg throws like a girl"...so I guess Steele Jantz throws like the genital's of a girl then?

Not even in the top 40 of FCS. If you return 21 crappy players arent you just still crappy. Iowa won big, so would ISU over Tennessee Tech.

I don't care that you think TT is the worst FCS school and UNI is the best FCS school, fact is BOTH Iowa State and Iowa played an FCS school and Iowa beat theirs like a BCS conference team should have. You didn't. Regardless of the fact, ISU should do the same at this point.
 
Go over to CyFan. Even the koolade drinkers are saying that this is the worst OLine they have had in 20 years. Iowa's Dline was in the backfield most of the day on Saturday, I expect the same this coming Saturday.

If ISU wins, it will be brutal, Jon will have to drop the hammer on ISUer/UNI4CY/ISU4lyfe and every other name he goes by.

And I do believe Iowa handed ISU 4 turnovers as well that game, so what is your point? Is it that Iowa was the better team because they took advantage of their turnovers and ISU didn't? If so I would agree with you.

With the injuries at OL and DL for ISU Iowa is going to dominate the trenches like the last 2 years. Even if ISU gets those starters back they won't be 100%. I don't know if it will be another 35-3 or 35-7 type of game but I could see 28-14 or 24-10 type of Iowa win.
 
Iowa will be up for this game. It is their super bowl according to their players comments and how much emphasis Ferentz puts on this game in the off season. So I will say Iowa 31-17
