I might have caught him on a couple of poor shooting nights but his shot was a bit sketchy. I also had concerns about his ability to find passing lanes inside the paint. College hoops is a big step up in length and passing lanes are squeezed into tiny little windows and slivers. I fully believe he has the skill set to make a defense rotate by penetrating the paint, but what a kid does from there is what separates the stars from the average.

Either way there is at least enough potential offensive upside at a position of need and the defensive upside is enough to sign him on alone right now.

I'm not sure what Fran's hold up with this kid is. I'm guessing it boils down to grades, character, or talent evaluation. Grades or character related concerns are hard to argue with, but if it's an evaluation and Fran and staff don't think this kid can help the team...well that leaves me scratching my head a little bit. I would at least think we would be keeping the coals hot in case Carton goes cold.
 
Sounds like DJ Carton is injured and might be out for at least a couple of weeks. Didn't play in Tuesday's game.

'19 PG Tyrell Terry out of Minneapolis is another to keep an eye on. The Iowa staff has been aggressively pursuing him. Not a great chance to get him, but he would be an ideal fit for what we need.

Green knocked down a tough, contested 3-pointer with under 2 minutes to play before Cochran answered with a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession to cut Bolingbrook's deficit to 78-77.

I think the quick stats site didn't list those games the last time I updated AJ's stats.

TK, no worries. I use quikstatsiowa.com to see when players/teams play. It's a good web site. The stats are done by each team, so the numbers might skew a little, but it's a good source to see the teams, their schedules, and stats.

Having trouble finding a site that keeps track of stats in Minnesota.
I do know that Tyrell Terry scored 6 points in the game versus Cedar Falls yesterday.
