That Locure kid intreagues me. His 3pt and free throw percentages aren't what you'd like but I'm not sure how many of either he's taking. But he's quick as all get out. I wouldn't be mad if Iowa got him if Carton doesn't end up coming.

Well, he shot 83.8% from FT last year, I think he was 3 for 7 in his first game so I'd imagine he'll improve that number as the season moves along.

What kind of offers does Locure have at this point guys? I know many on this board want to recruit him, but just curious how many other power 5s have offered.

I love a perimeter player who isn't afraid to mix it up inside if he/she has a mismatch. Gatens would live inside in high school if that was what his team needed in a given game. On the women's side, Ally Disterhoft is a great example of someone with guard skills who would go down low when needed.

Didn't Fredrick go 1-7 from 3 his first game? Now he is shooting 44%? He must be killing it to make up for a 1-7 this early in the season.

He's definitely a shooter. Haven't seen enough film to judge the rest of his game.

TK. I am starting to come around on Locure. I dont think his offense is B1G level yet but rarely is that the case. However his defense appears to be something that we could definitely use. I could see him spelling the PG for 10 to 12 minutes a game and giving us great on ball pressure during those stretches.

I am starting to think we need to hope that someone transfers or that Baer will give his scholarship up for his Senior year so that we can bring in a guard with defensive instincts and skills. This kid might just be that guy.

Well, he's averaging more points than everyone on the above list other than Wieskamp (who looks like he's ready for college right now) and nobody in 4A has more assists, so I'm ok with his offense as well as his defense.

Tyreke would certainly give us a guard with quicks, great distributor too. He really would not have to score a lot to be a great point guard if he is creating easy opportunities for his teammates.

I have seen him a couple of times now. I'm not saying his offense is garbage, but he is scoring quite a bit off of being stronger and faster than his competition. I don't feel as though this will be repeatable offense right away at this level of basketball. However the defense is immediately repeatable. So offense aside I see value in this kids defensive presence. That said I'm sure he could run our motion offense just fine.

I don't disagree with that. IMO, he's the perfect piece for this team. He has the quickness to beat his man & drive in the lane to kick it out or take an easy 10-15 footer if they don't respect him. Also, hitting threes when left open.
