Indiana playing a little dirty??

That's what's being said now. But think about it: no way in hell does the kid play against his Dad's team. No way. Will not be surprised if/when he de-commits, becomes a Hoosier.

Keep it classy, Wilson...

And here all along Faux news has been telling us that Conservatives are cheerful optimists. Me thinks another falsehood propagated by the Right exposed.

Simply expressing a view on human instinct and behavior somehow becomes a political comment in your mind? Wow. The latest polls must really have you guys freaked.

Kenney Sr. said Monday that his new employment has not changed his son's pledge to Iowa.

"I told (Iowa Assistant) Coach (Eric) Johnson that Dave is still committed," Kenney Sr. said. "Kids change their minds, but I've always been one to say that you be a man of your word. I raised him that way."

Kenney Sr. coached the defensive line at Butler for five years before sitting on the sidelines in 2011. Previously, he coached high schools in the Indianapolis area for five seasons. He's done an internship with the Colts and has scheduled the same thing with the New York Giants.

Very intriguing....he didn’t need to add that last part. He could have said, kids change their mind but I do know he likes Iowa and KF. That’s opens the door….but to say “I’ve always told him to be a man of his word…?!?!?!†That’s a pretty strong statement to the public about your kid. Makes it tougher on him if nothing else.

Good find PJ.

But at the end of the day it is what it is….be nice to have him but we know how to recruit. Well get more good kids either way.

The sun does not rise or set on Iowa football with David Kenney Jr. I just think there is a likelihood that sooner or later the paternalistic draw will be too strong. Would love to be wrong.

Seems like you've said this a couple times now. I think we are following you. Ill add that Iowa football will not rise or fall with David Kenney Jr.

Ill also add if his dad is or will try hard to get him to switch his allegiance it was silly too add the “I’ve always told him to be a man of his word line…â€￾ Being you are a study of human behavior, you no doubt agree with this.

I find it hard to believe that this job offer came out of the blue, meaning that I suspect Sr and Indiana been having dialogue regarding the position for a couple of months now....and Jr was most likely aware that this could happen when he made his decision to commit to Iowa.

Whatever, these jobs are all open to the public on the University website just like when Brian Ferentz got hired here.
