In regards to Tuck's Facebook status

A lot of merit has been going into his status, I've seen on Twitter feeds, message boards, et al that his status means he's leaving. It was a pretty cryptic message, maybe everyone should hold off before jumping to conclusions.

He made it about 3 hours ago, the same time he was released from jail.

I think we need to hold off on this sort of stuff. Not saying Tuck is coming back or what, just that posting information off of Facebook statuses isn't always the best way to go about things.

Just my two cents.

This is just me, but the last thing I would update my facebook status on would be my release from jail???

I think it is fair to say we have determined Mr. Tucker doesnt use the greatest judgemment at times, this is probably another example. Hopefully someday he gets it.
 
It's hard to take too much from a facebook status. He may be leaving and may be what his status was implying but I've seen a lot of ****** off over reactionary facebook statuses before.

I agree. I'm not saying one thing or another. I just think it's odd that people make concrete opinions based on a guy's status on Facebook. Could he be leaving? Sure. But deriving that off of Facebook? I don't think that's the way to do it.

You're trying too hard, Spanky. Might be better to prepare yourself for the departure of "Tuck." Personally I have another word that rhymes with "Tuck" I currently use in relation to young Mr. Tucker, and it is preceded by the word "dumb..."

Are you hoping its not meaning he's leaving the University? I do.

Dude has chosen everything EXCEPT his team and coaches. Selfish to the core. I for one want his sorry selfish butt out of here. I defended the kid last year. Now, head on home son. Winona State is calling.

Pretty clear that is what was meant by his facebook earlier. "I'm outta here" wasn't saying he was outta jail. Please!!

He got out of jail and packed up and left for home. Good Luck to him he needs to be around family...

LOL, game tomorrow night, they just have to be back by gametime. Tucker's done, just grasp the reality of it.

I am sick of people equating this to being a college student. For goodness sake, if you live in Iowa, you are paying for his college education because he has a FULL RIDE to get an education because of basketball. There are just no excuses for this.

As much as I gave my hope/optimism before the season, I was drinking (not like Tucker was/is, but watching the Bears I may have to) too much and I can only look at next year to be a better year with the 2010 recruits that I believe will help us turn the corner.
