In regards to Tuck's Facebook status

Lick isn't going anywhere and if he was, the 2010 recruits would be going with him and it would be in worse shape.
As we know, Lick is an upright guy and doesn't take his recruits with him when he goes somewhere (see Matt Howard). If he didn't bring anyone to Iowa, he won't take anyone away from Iowa.

What I am saying is that the recruits want to play for Lick, not that he will take them with him. Usually when a new coach comes in, they like to get "their type of players" and not inherit the signed recruits.

The kids who signed might not end up at Iowa if Lick left, but if they wanted to play major college basketball, following Lick if he leaves in the next year or two would not be an option.

Well he's back in Minnesota (according to his status) were the players given some time off?

My thoughts on it are this - he's suspended indefinitely. He's probably not practicing with the team and definitely is out of the game. He likely got a ticket out of IC for awhile until Barta/Lickliter make their decision. I'd assume the players' test are all done, so Tuck is prob done with school for the semester. Maybe he's on an early Christmas break until the decision is made.

Or maybe he's packed up and is gone.

We'll find out more tomorrow from Lickliter after the game.

He's probably going to be academically ineligible anyway so Lickliter has been game planning for the Big 10 season without Tucker in the plans
