I think it's going to be Keno

It was actually Amy Stevens (Drake's womens coach) who said this while I was at a coaching clinic with her..but if you want to call her BS on it you go ahead..Since it came from Amy I trust it and believe her 100%, she isn't the type of person to make something up. Sorry you can't believe it.

That conflicts with what Matt Perreault said today on KXNO. He road down to 'Arch Madness' with Adam Emenecker who raved about Keano and thought he would be a great hire for Iowa. These two stories seemed to be at both ends of the spectrum.

Anyone who discounts what Keno did in his year as HC at Drake is making a big mistake. I saw all but one or two home games in person, the game at Iowa, and a few others on TV. I'm telling you that Keno was money on the bench that season. He pushed all the right buttons. It was no fluke. It was game after game after game.

There is NO WAY that Keno is going to get the job... here is why.

If you take away his name and just look at the resume, there is nothing there. No way Barta hires a name only.

I really am thinking it is going to be Lavin.

I think Lavin is a good guy and maybe a good coach. IMO he has zero chance to get the job, even if he wanted it--which I doubt.

Regarding Keno: please God no!

Duffman, you really nee to get your keyboar fixe. Since your D is not working.

Keno was definitely not a players coach. I know someone that was in that program when Keno took over and from the day they lost to the time he got hired by Providence he didnt have contact or say a word to any of his player. Before that he was rarely in control of the practices and was a huge glamour boy. The players didn't particularly care for him all that much either. Keno would be a big mistake, and I really hope we don't "settle" for him or another mediocre coach at a mid-major.

Double B.S. I don't doubt that he left in a hurry for PC, but the rest of it is complete crap.

I love Mr. Davis. LOVE HIM.
Keno just isn't ready to take over this Iowa program. Maybe in 10 years, but not now.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Or just disagree. :)

You simply can't reconcile this attitude about Keno with your openness to a guy like Chris Collins.
