I loved Connor's quote after the game....

If there is one thing Pemsl has been, its consistent.
Good Pemsl qualities:

He boxes out pretty well.

He knows he is a bit player and seems to relish that with class.

He knows he isn't much of a shooter, so doesn't shoot much, will pass and set picks.

He has some nice moves underneath but knows this is The Garza Show.

He has some snark.

He has fought through a lot of injuries and remains an important team player.

Even though he doesn't get many minutes, he is very vocal on the bench, cheering the accomplishments of his teammates.

You can't have too many players like Pemsl!

I don't think it would matter much if he shot 35% or 29%. For one, he doesn't shoot often enough for it to make that big of a difference. For two, he was shooting 35% untio his recent slump and we haven't lost during his slump.
Yeah volume is a factor. Where it comes into play is when defenses account for it by sagging off of him a ton. Baiting/tempting him into shooting it. He could probably shoot 5 of them a game if he wanted to easy. Other teams would let him. Not taking open looks within the offense can throw things out of wack too. In a perfect world he'd start hitting more of them. But it is what it is kinda. You're right bottom line is they are winning and it hasn't really affected that to a degree worth bitching about at all.
