I saw the exact same thing after the game. First guy guy rean after watching The exchange is that this was his last game as a Hawkeye.

I'd agree with this. Probably just comes down to what NFL reps tell them and how they weigh that with the odds of getting injured.

Yes he was. But I think Hooker is considerably better. The way he fights through blocks to make tackles he has no business making is unreal.

I'd take them in the same safety tandem. Sash was more of a centerfielder, free to roam and make plays wherever needed.

Hooker is more of Brett Greenwood type, but better. Good instincts, good run support. He made a huge open field tackle on the play he suffered the shoulder stinger, saved a possible TD.

Kirk's offense put it in the end zone three times. Against a team that game up twelve all year playing in the SEC.

MSU's settled for three FG's when they could easily have had three or four TD's, not including the end zone drop/pick.

Go ahead and keep hating though.

Oh lord if we lose all 3 of those guys there are some extreme question marks next year. I was surely counting on having Hooker, Nelson and Eppy to lead the defense next year.

While he's a senior, we're also going to miss Recinos as well. His two for two put him at 17-22 FG's for the year. Very steady performance.

This, with Iowa's style of play the kickers are of huge importance and if they are performing are good for getting multiple wins a year or if not performing help bring on some losses. Hopefully we can get some back fill. If Recinos can get in the right place he may be able to make a NFL roster

I hope the lure of a great town (IA city), and being a Rock Star there keeps them. Heard Hock say awhile ago that money wasn’t only factor. Would love to see him assault the record books next year!
