Here lies Michigan RIP

I don't think your alone on this one. When I watched Baylor dissect the clowns in the first half I was sick to my stomach. How did we let that program beat us??? In my opinion I think Baylor is over rated. Like the announcer said during the second half, Baylor hasn't played anyone good yet.

The Look on KF's face when ISU kicked that winning field goal against us was a look of "I effed this one away by playing way to conservative" Today I've seen him do things that are so un Kirk like. I don't know if it's the fan base being so fed up. I don't know if there is heat coming from the administration. Maybe the national media is influencing him. I don't know what it is but Kirk is not himself. A full year of watching Jake C and Vandy at QB despite how horrible they were was almost more than any college loving football fan could take. CJ starting was a big change, and maybe it was only due to the injuries to Jake that caused it. However KF not kicking a short field goal that would have put us up by three scores in the second half???? Don't get me wrong as I was all for it even though it failed.

Have the body snatchers taken over KF's body???? It's like maybe he has realized that most fans would rather go down fighting like a man rather than B!tchslapping like an alternative life style individual would.

If he continues to coach like he wants to win rather than playing not to lose then I am open to see how this all plays out. If he goes back into his conservative Kirk mode then why not roll the dice? Life is to short to go through it like a frightened little girl.

That's funny...

And I think that's why fans want CJ. He can make bigger plays, keep in the D on their heels a little bit too.

But he's a gamer, and Iowa fans would rather have that than super-conservative field-position game that gives you a 6-6 record.

Ah, Yes, Kill kills....

He doesn't look like a killer, but then they say serial killers look like your next door neighbor.....

A big f'ing LOL. Kill looks like your nice goofy uncle bordering on creepy uncle but is actually harmless.

But he just has more excitement to him. Plays loose. This may not make total sense, but a team that takes a little bit of risk at the college level could score more points even with living with the errors than an ultraconservative team. Theres a fine line there. Ferentz doesn't get this. Plus its a hell of a lot more exciting to watch.

I love seeing MeatChicken struggle. Anyone remember Hoke's "WE'RE MICHIGAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Press conference his first year? He was trying to make sure everyone knew how mighty and superior his football program is/was.

Whoops.

If anyone needs to see an example of how recruiting rankings really don't mean all that much, please see the Michigan Wolverines, circa 2014. The end.

I'll go out on a limb and guess that it's probably more a matter of coaching than it is a problem with the raw talent and the recruiting rankings being wrong... Not that I follow UM football all that closely, but I've got to believe that they have some players.

I saw the second half of that UM/Minny game yesterday, and wow, Michigan's offense makes Iowa's look like a juggernaut. Not sure I've seen an O look THAT out of whack.

I hope Brady Hoke has been saving his money, because he's going to need that nest egg soon.

I haven't read all of the comments in this thread so if what I say about Michigan has already been brought up, I apologize...but anyway...AHAHAHAHA...U suck, UM! That is all.

There were two plays last week against Utah Michigan only had 10 players on the field. It's a mess and it's coaching.

The only thing that might be better is if this had happened to Ohio State. :)

COACH HOKE: "Well, I don't know... you know. I don't know if might had a concussion or not. I, I don't know, and that wasn't something that... Shane's a pretty competitive, tough kid, and Shane wanted to be the quarterback, and so - believe me, if he didn't want to be, he would've come to the sideline, or stayed down."

WTF??? The guy looked like he didn't know his own name... and you're making concussion protocol a player option???

Ohio State lost to Virginia Tech, but they have a very good QB who is fast and tricky, can spin on a dime.....

Nebraska looks like a top ten team, hate to say it but they look good, perhaps the best team in the Big Ten. Abdullah is fun to watch, and might be the best running back in the nation. He reminds me of Reggie Bush and Gregory is an outstanding defensive back, again, one of the best in the country. They also have a monster running back who is very difficult to bring down, drags people like The Hammer but is bigger.....

I just hope the season takes it's toll on the Huskers. Abdullah is a marked man, and I wouldn't mind him not playing against the Hawks. They do have to play at MSU. That could be one of the better games of the year in the B1G.....

They look good now, but Pelini teams peak in September. Abdullah and Armstrong will be 11 games in when we see them. Mark my words, that offense won’t be as dangerous come Thanksgiving in IC.

The Michigan Scout board is full of laughs, like this one:

Should be a fairly easy win for Rutgers. Our only in game adjustments our idiot coach can do is changing the cadence of his clapping. I just hope he doesn't jeopardize any of our other players safety this week, that's all I can hope for with Michigan this year.

Trouble is, the B1G needs Michigan to be relevant in order to enhance its image.

Two bad hires in a row. Can't image there will be a third.

I will never, ever have any sympathy whatsoever for a "blueblood" program. I don't care what conference they play in.

Agree. Bo is going to burn out Abdullah. 114 carries already and with all the Heisman hype they are going to continue overusing him.
