Rankings matter in the long run, you can't rely on outliers such as Jok, White, and Marble. That's not a legit All-American list as was already pointed out, and MG set the assist mark because very few players start as freshman PG's, and honestly it says more about how back Lick left the program in than anything. Either way, I'm excited about Bohannon like you, who if he stays healthy will shatter the assist record and 3FG.

I wouldn't call it banter, but rather calling @Hawk5656 out on his shit. He wants to run those trolls (Hawks are bottom of the B1G talent, Iowa will finish bottom of the B1G, Moss is a clear miss, Jordan won't be a Fr All B1G player, etc) then I'm going to call him out on those trolls, and not let him pretend or lie that he never ran those trolls.

What is also interesting is that you argued for a long time that if Jordan was EVEN CLOSE to Mike offensively that it would be a huge win for Iowa. That was back when you were for sure that Jordan wasn't even a B1G role player, so that was the troll then. Heck when Jordan was struggling as a Fr. So I said I think he is a role player. I never said he wasn't a Big Ten worthy player. Look bad when he committed I was upset because we missed on so many other top targets but I still said I thought he could be a solid role player off the bench.

So chauk that up as another thing you were wrong about. Jordan isn't a role player at all, he is a solid starting PG and was a 1st team Fr All B1G player. Way, way better already than what you said he could be.
Everyone was wrong on Jordan because everyone thought CW was going to be the guy at point guard. I remember a ton of posters saying CW would average at least 10 ppg last year. I never said he wasn't a B1G worthy player so don't accuse me of that. Actually I'd prefer you to just leave me alone.

Ok - back to DJ. After more education on him and Iowa's interests, I think DJ is Iowa's biggest priority recruit and they are going after him hard. So, I don't think Iowa is slow playing this any more and I felt strongly they were. So, yeah, shows how little I know. The biggest competition is Wisci (Creighton has an offer too tho) but I think the opportunity for playing time is strongest at Iowa for him.

I agree. I think Iowa is all in on DJ. Carton is visiting Iowa Before the Hawks leave to go to Europe. Hopefully it goes well, and we keep him in state.
