HaHa Purdy

I just love the fact the busiest message on the hawk message board is discussing ISU.... just goes to show how jealous hawk fans are of ISU.... but considering the basketball team had their ass handed to them by gonzaga... i guess they want to change the subject any way they can...
Once again your clown of a coach made a total asshat of himself and finally had to be pulled off the field by assistants. But what should we expect from an employee of an athletic program directed by a joker who got tossed from his son’s high school game for being such a jerk to the officials.

Oh, let’s not forget about the old yellow sweatered cadger who physically tried to go after Bill Self a couple years ago.

Mighty fine program there, bro.

Dude...we are just making fun of your have never won 1 championship in 108 years program. What a sorry ass tradition.

It was the perfect storm for them and they still couldn't do it. Got OU early with a freshman QB, a bunch of those that are usually decent at best were bad. There weren't really any good teams other than OU, and they were really down. They can only hope it sucks again next year.
Exactly right. The realty is this. ISU lost big at home to a Sunbelt team. They lost to Okie St who turned out to be ok but nothing special. They played OU, when OU could not even beat KSU at home. Only a missed chip shot field goal by Texas kept OU from being 1-3 to start the year. OU has their worst team in a long time. Texas continues to be one of the two most over rated teams every year. (Michigan the other) The rest of the league was total crap and to ISU's credit, they beat all the other crap.

8-3 is your "season for the ages" with a loss to Louisiana Crawdad Mining Technical Institute. It was a very good season. But you maxed out with a once-in-a-lifetime coach and opportunity. You must be kicking yourself.

Does anyone think Purdy might stay at ISU another year? Or is he pro ready?
Trevor Lawrence
Trey Lance
Justin Fields
Kyle Trask
Zach Wilson
Mac Jones

He is definitely not in that group. I think he would run it back with Hall and possibly Kolar and try to improve his draft stock.

Yeah, I wasnt trying to say he is a top draft pick but that after 4 years of college he might want to try the next step and maybe catch on with a team. He is not overall a dart laser beam passer who throws into small windows.

Purdy's coming back. Campbell may not be. I noticed the Auburn job is still open. Will Michigan be open?

It's kind of funny that Harbaugh may keep his job because they COULDN'T play. I've never seen that before...that's for sure. "As long as I can keep my team from playing and getting their asses kicked...I'm good."

ISU also benefitted from having many other leagues starting late as far as rankings/staying ranked. How in God's name they were in the playoff rankings at #6 as the highest ranking two loss team with a more than two touchdown loss at home to a Sunbelt team? Ahead of a one loss Indiana team who only lost by one score on the road against Ohio State. Total fricking head scratcher. It also appears a 3 loss ISU team will be selected ahead of the same Indiana team for a New Years Six game.
