Wow. Have the hawks put a hard foul or two on any hoosier rebounding or going up for a shot?

giving up this many off boards is just a lack of will to get to the ball first and move the feet, etc

Hard fouls? We don't deserve to be hard-fouling anyone. We can't even defend ball-screens, we'd just be goons.

Our entire defense looks like a scramble drill. We have no "set" defense.

Yeah, did you see it was 24-11 at half. Anytime IN does miss they get a layup or dunk off of it.

Yeah we are all watching the same game Sports the game where Iowa can't stop Indiana at all. Give us those rebounds Iowa still getting beat like a drum.

Cartwright has been horrendous in all aspects. Turnovers on offense, poor positioning on defense and absolute not trying to block out anyone on the defensive end.

He is not the only one, but sticks out the most at this point.

May was already hesitant before being benched...he is going to be worthless the rest of the season imo.

Some young guys are getting pt though...I guess that's positive

Iowa O-REB: 6
Indiana O-REB: 15

Indiana has FOURTEEN more possessions than we do. If they shoot at a 60 percent clip, that's 8.4 more baskets, or nearly 17 more points than Iowa. You can't give them that many extra possessions and expect to be competitive.

I didn't get that memo Herby. I however did think Iowa would close the gap a bit and be a lot more competitive.

We just need to sag the defense. Play man defense. Pack it in. Make teams shoot over us. It will close down drive lanes, easier to rebound the ball. We can still run off defensive rebounds. We have to figure out or ball-screen defense.

Extending the defense just exposes everything. We get beat of the dribble, we have nobody who can protect the rim. We scramble, then we can't rebound.

You're right. They're up 24 while absolutely dominating the offensive glass. You take away those 15+ OReb, they'd only lose 4 points. Get a clue.

Or maybe people just want to see improvement and effort jacka$$. Rebounding and defense is mostly effort and Iowa is performing horribly on both fronts. Indiana has like 16 offensive rebounds which is absolutely ridiculous.

Cartwright has got to have like 8 to's right now with 6 mins left. He had 4 halfway through the 1st half.

Yeah, and when a team dominates the boards and get fast breaks off of rebounds and a quarter of their points on the second chance variety, it turns ugly quickly.

4.. really you better get a clue. Iowa defensively is horrible.

Indiana has 1 5* and 4 4*'s on the roster and Iowa 0, but i guess stars don't mean a thing
