This is disappointing - Michael (a/k/a "Kent") is old enough to know better.

The only consolations here are:

1) No one was killed
2) This happened well after his playing days - I remember a lot of young kids (big & little alike) who really idolized Kent & his shooting abilities back in the day.

Drinking & driving is a very serious crime, in my book. Unfortunately, I - like many people - take it more seriously than our legal system currently does.

I was hit by a guy on his 3rd DUI the night before an Iowa game. That doofus tried to ruin my weekend ohhh and my life.

I have no idea they seperated us and nothing was sent to me stating that he was drunk until the verdict of the court case. I didnt go because it happened in Iowa and I live in meesheegan. I sent a letter to the judge that I didnt know when I signed my paperwork that he was drunk. I would have had my lawyer involved if I would have known that it wasnt an accident but a guy choosing to drink and drive. Never heard back.
