Why does everyone act like this game is a foregone conclusion? If anything is obvious at this point in the year its that Ferentz is in Harbaugh's head. He has already won the mental "game before the game". Its just the talking heads on ESPN who think Jim is some kind of great coach that gets the most out of his players.
I'm watching Saturday to see how the fans react to the beatdown.
A true fan has allegiance to the University and the players. Sure we should support a coach but once he stops making progress then it's time to voice our opinions and push for change which is what we are all doing.
I'm extremely critical but I couldn't be more passionate about iowa if i tried, but you know what as a season ticket holder and one who donates over and beyond my ticket price I have literally paid for the right to bitch and complain all I want.
A true fan won't stop watching. I know I won't, I will watch every snap of every game.
You touch upon a good point. Watching is something a fan does. Now if you choose to with-hold donations . . . well that's a different discussion.
I grow so tired of the "true fan" talk. In my opinion everyone on here is a fan regardless of where they stand. The only time the "true fan" argument gets brought up is when someone has a different opinion. We all support this program and want it to succeed. The differences lie in how we interpret success and the thought process we feel is needed to get to that level of success.
