That's because from the start he's simply spewing whatever his source in Texas tells him.

He does not seem interested in the least in actually checking his source against others. Where as, at least give them credit, others such as ESPN appear to actually go to more than just Texas looking for info.

The good news is, if Texas and others do go to the Pac-10, nobody will have a reason to follow Chip Brown any more.

Like has been said, Brown was being used by his "source" to leak the info they wanted out there.
