Nate and Spence were great guys and true Hawks as long as they live, but they don’t have that dawg in them. The last couple games was like watching CJB out there again with ice in his veins, where you kinda knew if the pocket started turning into a phone booth he was going to at least give somebody a shoulder and try to make something out of it. With Spencer and Nate and Cade and Deacon you just went, “Oh shit, not again…”

You cannot coach that. You either have it or you don’t.

There must be a reason that they've turned away from the bootlegs that were breadn butter up through Stanzi. Saw it last night to good effect. He hit Gill on one. I think on one he threw it away on an early down on. Twice I think (at least once for sure) he just ran it. And he's got a bit of afterburner for a QB. I saw it kick in for sure in one of those boots for a pickup of 9.

That can be a very effective play for them.

And maybe they didn't get away from it. They just didnt have a QB and a line that could do it.

First game I’ve been able to watch this year. What I saw is nothing that has been described here for QB performance. Marks overall play, accuracy excellent and situation recognition right on. You guys suck at QB analytics

I consider it a work in progress. Still its good to have the option for your QB to run, especially for those games when nothing else is working in the passing game.

I can see now why Brendan Sullivan transferred. Last year he was the running QB on the team used in red zone situations. This year there would be no point using him in the red zone unless the starter got hurt.

All these dudes are carrying it 10+ times a game. And they run it with the physicality of a runningback. In the past I didn’t think it was sustainable throughout a season…clearly, I was wrong on that.

With the defenses we have had recently what Mark has done should be good enough to win. Now is this years defense up to that cause I dont see any real superstar on it.....definitely some good players sprinkled in but no stars
