ESPN down grades all 5 Iowa recruits

Bottom line is Iowa has one of the top centers and point guards in the country coming in with some other very athletic players. It does make you wonder where Woodbury would be ranked had he committed to North Carolina.

OH NO!! If ESPN dropped them a couple points, Iowa is screwed! OH NO!!!!!

Seriously?

Yes, all ESPN cares to do is lower Iowa recruits in basketball and football, just like Scout and Rivals. It's a huge conspiracy against Iowa. Because those services really give a **** about Iowa.

Too funny.

its not about Iowa its about all no name schools. and its probably not even intentional they just think crappy school crappy recruit, top school top recruit. I really think there is some truth to what herby is saying and I never thought I would type that

Spot on. That said, these recruiting sites care about Iowa as much as Michigan State does.

It's OK, I upgraded all of them. Woody is now at eleventy stars. Gessel is now a New York strip on a scale of hamburger to prime rib. Ingram is my number one rated recruit that shares a last name with a Heisman trophy winner from Alabama, and Clemmons receives 27 thumbs up.

My rankings are just as influential on their college development as ESPN's.

personally i care less about a olayers ranking, but when a entire class of recruits get downgraded by a rating service is comprehension and speaks of a total bias against a school, and rather than jump on the unimportant part of the stars, people need to think outside the box and look at how this is viewed by future recruits,
stars may not matter to fans but it is to the players, kids play all summer and compete against the best to be judged on their skills and performance.
to just have the ranking they earned to be taken away because of who they commit to.
again future recruits see this and those that are good enough to miss out in All Star games because of this may have this influence their decision.
Woodbury just had any shot at the McDonald game just taken away as a 5* is more likely to get in rather than a 4* just on the edge of falling out of the Top 50.
and if you think for one minute that getting a recruit that made the McDonalds game wouldn't make a bigger statement with his 3rd recruiting class, you are don't want to admit that because i started this thread or you are a complete idiot in how recruiting rankings work and affect other kids decisions
personally i had thought a couple would increase the ranking making this class ranking wise better,
what's truly is amazing how people were just gushing about the class when it just outside the Top 10, now that it has dropped now the attitude. oh well stars don't mean squat

Everyone is making fun of you because you think ESPN is out to get Iowa.
