Eric Graham, RB commit to the Hawkeyes, today

OK, I'm sold, he is a highlight reel, Morehouse says it all, I hope he gets a chance to get in this year

Please don't ever ever ever call me a clown fan again. I can't think of a worse possible insult.

I guess being described as a homer is not that far off though. To the extent that I don't watch any other college teams play but Iowa.

I really think you should. I would recommend you watch some other teams or conferences. It might help you relate with reality a bit more.

I don't have the time or desire to watch games that I really don't care about. If the outcome relates to Iowa as in playing them in the next round of a tournament or Iowa needs a team to lose for a championship then I pay attention to the score but that's about all I need to do.

I really liked this kid when I heard he committed and saw some tape on him. Great to hear he's looking good. There was something about the way he runs.

We won't really know until we see him in games, but I've really liked what I've seen and read about him. Maybe, just maybe this was one of those diamonds in the rough we so desperately need to be. Again, nothing matters until the game...but good to hear

For me, he has a 2nd or even a 3rd gear that he hits and blows right by people, power and speed......can't wait to see him on the field

I love how some fans try and make it sound like we just signed Barry Sanders. This kid LIVES in SEC country yet he was sitting around on signing day waiting for IOWA, of all schools, to say, "yeah, okay ... we do need you, I mean ... want you, after all..."

Holy cow kool-aid drinkers, it can't simply be grades that kept schools away ... Remember, we are talking SEC territory. The same SEC territory that would have turned Troy Davis into an academic All-America.

Now, I would love to see this kid come in and be a huge success. But let's not trip over our di**s trying to make it sound like we signed Barry Sanders ... Holy cow, some fans are just ridiculous, and laughable at the same time ... One highlight video and he looks much better than Higdon and he is going to work harder than Higdon ... blah, blah, blah ... Hey, I am all about being optimistic but to go through life trying to sugar coat everything will not get you far in life ...

He barely qualified in time academically. You really think SEC schools are going to wait around till the last minute for a guy to qualify in Alabama? With the amount of talent in the region there are plenty of other athletes to focus in on and everyone had moved on. Higdon fell through and Graham had just qualified so he was the next best option. I personally think the kid looks pretty damn good myself and feel lucky that Iowa was able to fall back on a recruit that looks as promising as he does.

I think Morehouse compared him to Albert Young, not Barry Sanders. And if it's the Albert Young before the knee injury I think we should be really happy about that.

Sorry that rain fell on your parade and some good news came out of Hawkeye camp about a player.

So it's not that you like sports, you just like iowa sports?

Again, I like your game on here, but ya gotta clean up stuff like this, it ruins the otherwise magnificent job you're doing.

Play on playa.

So you wont watch Wisky, Nebby, or Minny play any other games but when they play Iowa, really?

You dont want to see their personnel and strategy (new coach at Nebby) and then try to imagine how you would game plan against them and how you think the hawk coaches will gameplan against them?

You dont want to know how the Big 10 is shaking out and looking against the other Power 5 teams. You arent going to watch a minute of Ohio St - Va Tech early this season?

I dont watch a ton of other college football ( I wont watch Indiana - Purdue or NW - Illinois but I might watch NW-Wisky). Not going to watch Utah-Colorado but lately Utah St- Colorado St is a big game with two strong non-power 5 teams, interesting to see how they look. I am glad Iowa is not playing either utah St or Colo St although I would rather pay $60 bucks for a ticket to see those two teams in kinnick rather than North Texas St.
