I feel like a battered wife. Always getting beat waiting the nice guy to come back. Guess what. He aint coming back. Iowa sucks and will suck as long as this regime is in place. Talented rbs dont see the field. Talented qbs sit while mediocre at best qbs suck it up. I cant make any changes and they sure ss hell wont. I just have to walk away. Call me a bad fan if you want, but there is NOTHING fun about Iowa football. Not one thing. It is pathetic and sad all at once.

Just about every team goes bowling.
All you have to do is beat 4 tomato cans out of conference (which Kirk struggles with most season) and go 2-6 in the conference.

I was prepared to rant on a coaching staff that was clearly out-prepared and out-worked tonight. I was prepared to launch about our confusing, contradictory and almost comical player packages that almost guarantee failure before the ball is snapped. I was really prepared to single out the use of Damon Bullock as proof that we don't know what we are doing. And I don't even want to start on this business of fiddling around with that final field goal.

I had only one caveat. I had hoped that Hawk fans weren't foolish enough to think that one of our biggest problems is having (what they think is) the wrong QB in the game.

Shame on me. It's always the QB, right??? Uh, no.

We have a lot of positions with problems (like two lines that were getting obliterated today; receivers that seemed like scrubs next to the ISU wide-outs; and much more). And today, poor Big 12 officials didn't help (though I refuse to blame them for losing). But QB? Don't go there, folks. There are 300 other things we need to address first.

If KF was half the decent person some think he is, he would step down as the Iowa coach and let Iowa look for a new coach. I am just estimating on this but I would guess he has raked in some $60 million from the university of Iowa and we owe him and his family absolutely nothing. Do the right thing coach and man up and resign.

Iowa may not end up bowling, nothing is certain and this team looks ripe to **** the bed even further.

After the buzz has worn off I am still trying to figure out why I watch. Football is supposed to be entertainment and even when iowa wins lately (except Nebraska last year) it isnt fun.

As long as greg davis is there, i cant force myself to care anymore. And I understand that it is ultimately on Ferentz. I just dont see that changing....ever. :(

So much truth here. This isn't fun or enjoyable at all. Every week it's the same thing. Another squeaker that keeps us grinding and gnashing our teeth right up 'til the end, no matter the quality of team they are playing.

I honestly don't see the team (and offense) I've watched the last 3 weeks going to a bowl game. I breaks my heart that this is truly his I feel.

We are doing our best to NOT scratch where it itches, worse than that we are doing it boringly.
