Early look at next years football schedule..............

Ok, what should I say in place of that term?

I don't know, you can use it if you want. I guess it was one of the reasons I quit going to that site, everything was "kool-aid chugger" and "Ferentz apologist" for years, it got old.

I'm not a Ferentz fan but I want him to succeed but only because that means Iowa is succeeding as well.

I don't consider him cashing his fat checks as "succeeding", or as Charlie Sheen would call it "winning".

Seriously, Ferentz has to have the best dang agent in the world.

Bad coaches don't win multiple B10 titles and BCS bowl games at Iowa. End ******* discussion.

You might be correct or it could be proven over the next few years that Norm Parker was the true great coach at Iowa while KF was here.

I'll say this again as I realize it takes many times for ferentz apologists to read/hear this before it sinks in.

ferentz has not changed since he came to Iowa. The reason that he had success is because of what he did well - hire good recruiters on his staff. They now have been gone for a while and you see the real ferentz exposed.

History proves that if his teams don't have very good talent, he is not successful. Since he hasn't had good recruiters on his staff for a while now, you see ferentz for what he truly is.

Hope that helps, but you are so far gone as a ferentz apologist that there may not be hope for you at this point. But I do wish you well.

how is that different from any other coach?

I have Iowa being very competitive in every game outside of OSU and Nebby,if we get decent QB play...a big if,I know, but it has happened before with guys like Drew Tate in 2004(we did not know how he would play at all.

Iowa should be better at almost every other position, and contrary to what some folks think...our opponents do lose players every year.

Why should Iowa be better at receiver? Why should they be better at DE? Why should they be better at C. Why at CB?

Beyond that, how much better do these players need to get and how good are the players other teams have to come in as replacements?

Finally, we had an idea of how Tate would play because they actually played him the prior year. One play in particular he pulled a Montana to Clark TD pass.
