THAT IS HIS JOB. Right state of mind is required for practice and working out and it has to be present come game time.
I will retract my being fired statement if you will admit he should have come right out and admitted the failures of his team as well as himself. Losers make excuses and he had many. Maybe if he would man up, he would not have such a hard time getting his players to.
I won't disagree with that. It was the "coach should be fired" comment that got me more than anything. You don't fire a coach like Calipari because he failed to get his team up for a singular NIT game, when it's not hard to see how his team might not really want to be there.
