Does Rudock stay?

He stays no doubt about it. Especially if they go spread. That's what he ran in high school

He knows he has it after this year.

Doubt the Hawks go spread with Kirk at the helm.

Rudock starting next year isn't a given either.

your QB coach/ OC goes to TN to see a QB prospect once and then said prospect comes to IC once. Then signs on to be a Hawkeye. I don't see him transferring because KOK is gone.

I was referring to Beathard being a KOK guy, not that he was transferring.

Rudock stays. If I remember correctly him and his dad were big Ferentz fans. I think Beathard is the one most affected. His articles said that KOK was the main reason he liked Iowa so much. I don't think he leaves. But I'm sure it's upsetting for him.

and without starting another thread, what about recruit Kozen?
i'm wondering if we know have an understanding as to what he was waiting for.....

yup, too coincidental this all happens a day our two after LOI day.

as to Breathard, he is still just a young man and knows things change sometimes. I would guess he saw more than just a coach he liked before making any decision.

I would say that would be the wisest thing for a 18year to base one of his decisions on.

he is put in an interesting position, no doubt. left misissippi due to coaching change, and now, two days after he signs, another coaching change.

and maybe when kok told that to breatherds (sp)dad, he was being truthful. could have been a recent chain of events to put him over the edge. who knows.

good point. but doesn't Beathard's dad have some confection with KF too?

I'm betting that is 1 reason we got a Juco QB. just in case Rudock doesn't stay.

Why would Rudock leave? He's basically being handed the keys in 2013. He just has to reach out and grab them. Rudock isn't going anywhere.

The reason Iowa signed a Juco quarterback is for depth. Iowa only has three quarterbacks on scholarship & two leave next year. The Hawks were desperate to sign quarterbacks.

I think the OC will be coach Campbell and they will still run a similar pro style offense. I see no reason why any recruits will leave. It happens all the time. I mean it wasn't like KOK was trashed in the public and thrown out. He left for a "promotion" you can't fault him and if any relationships were developed they should be happy for him.

If I was a recruit I would be happy because the possibility of running an offense with a playbook over two pages long has just gone up.

Next question is who will be the WR coach? I say Ed Hinkle.

its not like KOK got fired, big difference in taking a step up in the profession, his father should be able to explain that, same with Rudock, why would he leave because his position coach took a better job
