Why would you consider the dumpster fire down in LSU? Their coach won't be there in a year. OSU won't offer unless they miss on other guys. My guess, is he just wants to make sure before signing so is listening to what they have to say.
After getting a verbal from a touted DB yesterday I would think tOSU might not be as interested in DJ. Some are saying the Buckeyes are full at that position now but who knows if more declare for NFL. Need to sign him in early signing period.
