i'm with you - i'm not saying i want them to win because that would be good for them - i guess i was thinking about iowa when i said that.

and if they would win out, what a better thing for them to lose early in the ncaa! nothing like seeing clownies cry...

I hope Kane only has to miss one game at most. I am with you deanvogs in that I really enjoy watching ISU. It makes it nice being able to watch ISU today and Iowa tomorrow.

Well, then maybe we should let Jon speak for this and not play warden to other posters for starting thread discussions. It comes off as the typical message board, type A, Nazi otherwise.
 
According to Clone fans having depth doesn’t matter. They’re about to find out why you can’t put all of your eggs in one eye-gouging basket.

That is not the definition of depth. If any team would lose their best player it cant really be "replaced". Kane is almost like Marble and White tied into one player. How would Iowa replace those two if they missed games due to injury.
 
So, this is going to effect Iowa's RPI a significant amount? Not sure why the Iowa State basketball team matters, except for our RPI if they start losing every game. This one loss shouldn't really matter.

It doesn't. Just a chance for the haters to hate.

Losing to a decent team on the road is not an AH-HA moment. If it is, Haters should get ready for some retribution from losing a game to Mich-ILL-Minn on the road.

Yeah, but you apparently have a need for that to balance out something else you apparently feel very deficient about. We peg you at about the maturity level of a 7th grader about this. And if you want the clowns to lose every game, you're going to probably have a lot of bitter days ahead of you this basketball season.

Why not focus on this year's great Hawkeye team instead of being jealous of another team's successes. Their wins don't diminish us, unless it's that win they lucked into OVER us. But you sitting in your little basement corner hoping for losses on another team that isn't even in our conference is a little.. immature? shallow?
