But you assume that a family would not butt in if it would seem wise to not but in. However, I think upon reflection you might agree that just because it is smart not to butt in doesn't mean people WON'T but in. I think you might perceive a legacy whose dad played for Lute and grew up in Iowa, as opposed to outside the state where values aren't the same (allegedly), would not be disruptive. Being disruptive is hardly something that is decided upon logically.
I don't know that I believe the Gatens family is a disruptive force. I am just being hypothetical here. I definitely think it is much easier for an average Iowa fan to believe a guy that played for Lute would not, along with his son, be a disruptive force to the Iowa program.
