This is all from memory so i might have a few details wrong...
TD1 to Hockenson - Remember route Fant dropped to end MSU game (?...or NW)? Spacing concept run deeper out of compressed formation...OSU blew coverage
TD1 to Fant - 4 Verts out of our twins/double tight 12 personnel. We have been running that play since KOK days. Good coverage, better throw
TD2 to Fant - Little sprintout off of motion (maybe even some play action) and OSU blew coverage.
TD2 to Hockenson - Some boot/waggle action that Iowa has run since KOK. Stanley isn't going to win the Heisman but that was a Heisman-esque moment for him with a high NFL draft pick hanging on him. Hockenson a bit of a scramble drill aspressure prevented initial route from being thrown.
TD1 to Kulick - We have been running this forever too. Slip FB into flat...OSU guy inexplicably blew coverage despite having it as Kulick slipped to flat but didnt stay with it.
I don't think there was a ton of new stuff necessarily...Stanley was on point and OSU's arrogance bit them big time.
