Cody Larson did not play in last night's game

There is something going on...the fact that he was not present at the game says a lot.

So he wasn't even on the bench? Sounds like he is done for the year if that is the case. Sounds like some major problems on that team w/ chemistry. All this just made Cody go from the number one recruit that I thought would contribute to the last.

It is not just this thread though. Every other thread on this site seems to be about this rumor or that rumor and it gets hard to separate the bullcrap from the truth anymore.

The University of Iowa recruit didn't respond to phone messages Tuesday night, but it sounds like things might have boiled over at Roosevelt and discplinary action has been taken. If so, it's hard to imagine the Roosevelt hoop saga sinking any lower than it is right now.

We delete numerous topics each day. You just aren't familiar with all of those because some are sniped quickly. Others are not sniped as quickly because they are not seen right away. When a topic is posted that comes to my attention that I have a problem with, it gets removed.

One of the aspects of 'free boards' that makes them a little looser isn't a change in mentality, it's that there are so many more posts. Even now, which is the start of the typical dead period of the message board cycle (with the exception of just two or three basketball seasons in the last 10 or so), there are more than 1000 new replies to hundreds of threads, each day.

Which is why I have always encouraged people to help out in the process of moderation; if you see something you think crosses any sort of line, copy the url and email me.

am i missing something? I did not see anything in the link that refers cody to taking pain pills. Was it on the last page or something? I know from having an ankle injury and trying to play through it, there are several ways to go about it. Pain pills are one way, the other way is to get a shot that pretty much numbs everything for about an hour and then you can't feel the pain for at least 3 days later, then it hurts like crazy!

If he was taking pain pills, no big deal. IF he was distributing them or filling out fake prescriptions, then we have an issue! that is a serious no no and could have him lose his scholarship.

I wish it was required to post under your own real name and email. I think that would cut down on a lot of the goofiness.
