Agree. ISU is trying to do a "power" running game in a spread field (maybe so they can go uptempo pass when they fall behind?).The only other option ISU might have is to hire a guy that commits to winning in the trenches with a power running game. It would take a few years to develop interior line talent but that's the only way to do it. Slow Big 12 offenses down by grinding their defenses on the ground. They can't do that with JUCO players, however. They have to build it first, then they can bring in JUCOs that fit the mold.
I think the key to your comment is "commits to winning in the trenches". Always has been, always will be.
