Love it. Actually here's a tough one. Historically, which program is worse, isu or duke?

That's easy, Duke has a lot better history than isu. They have 17 conference championships. Although until this week they hadn't been in the top 25 since 1994. I'm not sure there is any BCS team that has a history as bad as isu.
 
I'm still amazed that Lazard is committed to ISU. I thought he would jump ship even before they were this bad. Guess some instate commitments are more solid than others!

For real, where does isu rank historically among the worst programs in college football? Baylor? Duke? Northwestern maybe?
Top five? Top ten? I gotta know

Easily top 10 of the BCS teams. I'm no expert, but I would say the historically bad bottom 5 football programs would be Indiana, Wake Forest, Iowa State, Temple (are they considered BCS?), Duke. Northwestern has actually had a pretty putrid history also, but maybe not bottom 5 given their recent success.
 
This might be worthy of another thread just to show clowns how bad their program actually is. They literally have forgotten die to their breakout year last year
 
If you really want some stuff to read, find their preseason prediction thread on CF. Look at all the 8 win predictions.
 
The one and only time I have been over to that semen receptacle they call CF I read thru basketball predictions for this years Iowa/ isu game and their drips (fans) were so far out of touch with reality i see no sense in ever going over to that dump again.

1. Indiana .4192 #118 of 126
2. Northwestern .4418 #113
3. Kansas State .4440 #112
4. Temple .4461 #110
5. Iowa State .4579 #106
 
It's funny how different Hawk and Cyclone fans are. The Hawks are at 6 wins right now and the fans are as divided as I've seen them in my lifetime. A year ago when the Cyclones reached 6 wins they were shouting from Iowa rooftops, silos, and water towers that the football world better watch out cuz the rise of Cyclone Nation is imminent!

Two different realities I guess. Makes me really appreciate the fact I bleed black and gold.

I have forgotten how bad K-State used to be. Bill Snyder should get coach of the century for what he's done there. Paw Whoads.......not so much.

Just curious - ISU's record against fellow bottom feeders:

Indiana: (have not played)
Northwestern: 1-7
Kansas State: 49-43-4 (halfway respectable, but 4-20 since 1990 - ouch!)
Temple: (have not played)
