Hi, I'd just like to take a brief moment for all the ketchup and mustard fans (that are really in the closet wanna be hawk fans) that frequent our great hawkeye site, in our great hawkeye state, and 1) just point out their record winning season of 1 win and 10, yes 10 losses 2) see of they have any comments about their monumental season so far and 3) see if they are still so powd of coal Paw Whodes? How is the program over there ketchup and mustard? Haven't heard much from you here in Des Moines this year. &saltinwound

Haven't you heard? If Sam Richardson was healthy, they would easily be 6-4 this year. And if they had Lazard, they would be 8-1 with the only loss being Baylor. I mean a healthy Sam and Lazard only = 63 points, so they would've lost that game, 71-70. #programontherise
 
The ol ball coach Pauw is clearly running one of the greatest rope-a-dope schemes in college football history! Clones will be laughing all the way to the BCS when they are 9-1 at this time next year. #AllIn

We heard this crap all last year, and still hear from idiots we work with this year. We will take every chance we get to make fun of a fan base who has spent the last few years telling us that Paw's team is on the rise and the Hawks were in a downward spiral. But there are a lot of Clone fans who will say this was a lost year anyway, and next year they will be super awesome because Jesus the Receiver is coming to the team. I haven't heard this much hype over a player since Steele Pantz. The whole thing is just funny to me.

Didn't it seem that way towards the end of the season? I thought so. Do I still think that? No, I don't. Who cares. It's rivalry sports talk. There will always be flaming. If it burns that deeply, maybe you should step away from it a bit. It's just not that big of a deal.

If this were actually true, 90% of the ISU fans I know wouldn't be so butthurt over so-called "tavern hok" fans and wouldn't hate Iowa with every ounce of their life.

There is hatred on both sides, and both sides take it way, way too far most of the time. Maybe you should go post the same thing you did above at CyFan. I am guessing they won't agree with you either.

It doesn't burn, it's was just annoying, and now I think it's funny.
Oh, and I don't spend time on Cyfan commenting on every anit-hawk thread, so maybe you are the one who should step away for a bit.

The Clowns have been on the "rise" for 20 yearsnow. Every year they are *this* close to taking over the hawks in thestate of Iowa. Even though by whatever way you want to measureit they are closer to UNI at 3 than they are to us at 1.
The entire athletic program is incompetent and thebraying jack*** that sits atop the poop pyramid is only still there because theonly decent hires he ever made were former athletes who fell into his lap.
It is a safety school where the bottom half of PolkCounty high school grads can go and still be close enough to home to do laundryon weekends. Most will take 3 semesters and pay it off the rest of their livesby calling Iowa grads, “Sir”. But every Saturdaythey can throw on that ISU jersey and cheer their miserable little hearts outhoping if their loser of a team can win maybe their loser lives will be a littlebetter.
 
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Clones beat both KU and WVU, they're all down there in the basement.

And if it happens, you can guarantee we'll hear about how this is the launching pad to a 9-3 season in 2014.

They already think they will win 8 or 9 games next year. They are bringing in a 4 star WR next season! The first and only 4-star player to ever play in the B12!

He's only a 4 star because he plays in Urbandale. If he were from Texas he would be a 5+ star. Rumor has it, he is going to play linebacker, d-line, OL, and WR. All of those gaping holes will be filled by this one remarkable player.

I would love to see an end of year playoff with Purdue, Kansas, ISU, and WVU. Who would win that crap fest? Okay I take it back, I really don't want to see that.
