I think it is the predecessor of this uniform that was similar to these but on the side of the shorts there was a black stripe that was several inches wide and expanded as it went down to the cuff of thsorts. I always thought of them as L.A. Laker knockoff uniforms. They were my favorite Iowa Basketball unis.

Imagine these in black! They should make these the real uniforms. To spice it up, they could make many different sets. Gold, white, black, and someone mentioned gray which I also think would be cool. It would be kind of like the uniform style that is getting popular in football. Minnesota and Purdue just made new football uniforms. They are very simple, but have all their different colors represented in sets.

I miss this tank-top style jersey. It's been replaced with the shape that looks like a sleeveless shirt
