I have to wonder how advisable it would be to break in as a head coach at Cleveland with no previous NFL experience at any level.

I think a lot of really good head coaches in college who go to the NFL dont like the lack of control with overpaid whiny pro players and they dont like not being in total control so they go back to college ball, Saban, Holtz, Spurrier, etc.

Most of these coaches are super high Ego, hell spurrier won the heisman also, and they want to be top dog but they cant when there is a GM and and owner.

For any coach who wants to be an NFL head coach I dont think they would mind coaching Cleveland. As a matter of fact some of these coaches love the challenge of trying to make them a winner when so many have failed and that is an ego factor also
