Mikail McCall...
McCall only weighed 215 when he was at Iowa, at least according to his bio on hawkeyesports.com. Greene had 20 pounds on him in 2008.

Ok good point. Coker was pretty big but I think he was slower than Greene.

Iowa is one of those practices where there is constant coach feedback. Ferentz provides a lot of it - particularly w line play.
I am getting the feeling KF is finding it hard to say no to Beathard.
I bet we see a Rudock/Beathard depth chart Week 1 and Beathard is taking all the snaps by midseason.
He sure must be good if he's moving above an upper classman.
Meier also had offers from UNI and South Dakota.

I had heard about true frosh RB LeShun Daniels prior to coming to #Hawkeyes camp. And he looks good. A faster Shonn Geeene?
Ok, that settles it for me. If that truly is the case, play him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It isn't the case. He clearly put the question mark at the end so he wouldn't have to own the quote, but hawk fanboys across the midwest would still retweet it.
That said, I look forward to seeing what LD can do.
If Daniels does turn out to be a faster version of Greene, he will go down as the best back in school history.
First time I have ever heard a sophomore referred to as an upperclassman.
I thought Sokol was a Junior. And he's moved above him, right
First time I have ever heard a sophomore referred to as an upperclassman.
I think he means elevating over Sokol, who is definitely an upperclassman.
Does this mean Sokol will quit or transfer? That seems to be the prevailing trend in college sports, any way.
Still, kind of weird that KF states who is leading, in second, etc., while at the same time stating he will let it "play out".
