Kirk Ferentz said before practice JC WR Damond Powell has impressed with his quickness. Could be a playmaker. Got here right before camp.

They amped up the hyperbole train for Minnesota and Purdue and Illinois on this tour and made them sound like they were title contenders. I'm sure they'll avoid that for Iowa however.

They definitely did. Although, it was pretty tough put lipstick on the Illinois stop. Revsine still said their defense has a long way to go and picked them to max out at 4 wins but wouldn't be surprised if they only won two.
