Have you ever even been outside of the region?
Yes, many times.
You are the perfect example of everything that is wrong with Nebraska fans.
Again, I have said this many times, the
ONLY fanbases I hear this from are the ones that lie between the Miss and the Mo. Your jealousy of the Nebraska program borders on creepy. Seriously.
You fail to acknowledge your own program's short comings.
I know we have shortcoming, I will always acknowledge them. Have you paid attention to any of my other posts? I doubt it.
I think you will find most Iowa fans, while disappointed with the past season are still proud of how the team showed up and played hard in their bowl game.
Congrats. And Nebraska fans (rightfully so) are proud of how the team played when we won (for the most part) but are disappointed to lose a game that either we shouldn't have (UW) or lose some close games that cost us a conference championship and a shot at the MNC.
We understand that MNC trophies aren't to be expected every decade much less every season.
That's what makes you Iowa, and us Nebraska. When you have actually played for and won national championships numerous time in each of the past 4 decades, it kind of cements your place in college football. Ours should be to compete for a conference championship every year, and be in the conversation for the MNC. Will it happen every year? No, and any Nebraska fan will tell you that.
We have other interests and can understand that the happiness of our lives should not be dictated by 18 to 22 year old young adults.
Sweet cliche.' Is that all you got? I know that for me personally, I have much more to worry about in my life than football. Job, school, paying my bills, personal life, family, etc. Football is just one of the things that make autumn fun for me.
How many Nebraska football players does it take to change a light bulb? Just one- he holds the bulb and the entire state revolves around him.
There is fiber in those words.
Yes, to the ignorant, there is fiber in that
joke. If you think that the Nebraska fanbase is any more interested in their progam then Alabama's, Georgia's, Michigan's, Texas's, Oklahoma's, etc, you are fooling yourself, and
YOU are the one who needs to get out of this region.
I'm sure when you first heard that "joke", Nebraska wasn't even the punchline, unless you first heard it in Iowa. Which goes back to my main point: the only thing more disturbing than Nebraska fans' interest in their program is Iowa fans' stalker-like, creepy, un-founded jealousy and hate for Nebraska and it's fans.
That jealousy and hate is really, really, disturbing.
