I agree.
Ideally, Iowa needs to get a nice lead and force Wisconsin to pass. THEN Iowa can go ball control in the 4th quarter. But Kirk will likely try to play ball control right from the start.....and the Hawks just will not be able to out-muscle Wisconsin.
I see a typical Iowa game unfolding. We get the ball first. We score a touchdown. We hold WUs on their first possession. We get the ball back and kick a FG. We go up 2 scores, kfootbll then elects to try and run out the clock for the next 3+ quarters, we lose momentum and WUs eventually wins going away. We'll score a touchdown when WUs is in prevent D.
We've seen this way to many times. If JR plays (of course he will) this will be Iowa's game plan. The REASON JR starts, in my opinion, is because JR fits kfootballs gameplan.
