I have zero doubt that Polasek is a better OC than Brian. I wonder what they did in practice to prepare the offense against 8/9 man fronts and blitzing. I wonder if they did anything at all. 99% of Iowa fans knew it was coming, did Brian? The game isn't all on Brian. But Kirks 3 offensive coordinators

That's the best he can do? How do we know Polasek isn't better than all 3 of them? According to our HC he is better than all 3 of them if you listened to how he praised Polaseks old team before and after they beat us.

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The son of Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz beat out 100 other applicants (giggles) for a position on his father's staff and was given a salary $15,000 higher than a second assistant coach hired at the same time, according to documents released Friday.
Stanley also was checking out of a lot of plays. Several offense players after the game said PSU gave them quite a few new looks. James Daniels said they blitzed about 95 percent of the time.
Something about 99% of Iowa fans knew was going to happen prior to the Penn St game, but yeah, I hope the OC adjusts, plans, and practices for it, now.And there you go....the game-plan every single (smart) DC we face is going to do from here on out. Realizing that, I hope our OC adjusts, plans and practices for it the rest of the season.
Let's hear your suggestion for an available and willing replacement. Surely with your monolithic football analysis abilities you have someone in mind, Joshie. The game isn't all on Brian. But Kirks 3 offensive coordinators

Say we're not sexy enough times and people will naturally accept average results, even for $5 million a year.--------Bottom line, the overall game plan from Iowa was to make it a four-quarter game with a crack at winning at the end.
You just said a mouthful.....one of the big reason's Ferments should have been shown the door years ago.
