I am curious so I want to see everyone's opinions. Alabama is pretty much a shoe-in, but if LSU loses in SEC championship game, should they be allowed to play in BCS championship game anyway? For the record, I think LSU is ungodly good. However, should they be allowed to lose their conference championship game and not be penalized just because they are one of the best teams this year? Any other sport, if you are the best and you don't win, you don't get to go to the championship game. Baseball: if you don't win the AL/NL CS, you don't go to the World Series. NCAA BB: you lose once in March Madness, you don't go to championship game...
Also, if you wouldn't put LSU there to face Bama, who would you put in (barring they win their conference championship game)? Stanford? oK state (who shouldn't be anywhere near top ten for losing to ISU IMO)? Boise?
