Badger fans are turning on Bo Ryan and I mean fast!

I honestly believe that Bo Ryan has recruited system guys that are likely to be around for 4 years and then he has coached them to grab, hold and arm bar their way against more talented opposition. Whether it's the on-ball defender or off the ball. They don't play zone defense and they don't hedge the screened player. The only way to protect the basket against opponents with that kind of philosophy is either: Have elite athletes that can defend one on one or stretch the theory of acceptable defense from every angle. Which one do you guys think Ryan has done?
The NCAA has decided to start calling fouls as they were meant to be called. Bad news for Bo.

Yeah, this years team likes to get out and run a little bit more which gets a way from Bo's style of play. I have not looked this up but I think this years team is averaging more points (and giving up more) than any of Bo's teams. But if they get into a slump where they are not hitting the 3 ball they become very average.

I don't think Bo can run the offense he used to run with the fouls being called today. His starting line up would foul out. I think that's the reason why this year's team is running a little more and shooting earlier in the shot clock. Remember all of the moving screens Bruisewitz used to get away with?

This. Sparty may have done a lot of the same thing, but they have the talent to adjust. tO$U is also struggling to adjust, especially "best defender ever" Aaron Craft, even if he still gets away with a bunch of fouls each game.

Where did I exaggerate? I pointed out your Royce White vs Harrison Barnes prediction because it is a perfect example of a message board poster who thinks he knows what he's talking about, but really has no idea. Which happens routinely on boards from all fan bases including the meltdown taking place with Wiscy fans. Boards give people with irrational opinions a way to express themselves. There is no filter.

Regarding your Royce White prediction... Dude never played proves everything! How do you not take attitude, work ethic, and off the court issues into consideration when trying to predict NBA potential or who you would draft first? Those things have an enormous impact on what a player becomes. Harrison Barnes excels at all three while Royce White is miserable at all three. On the court ability isn't the only thing anyone should take into account. The fact you failed miserably to look at the big picture is the point. Don't try to backtrack from it. Even the Rockets GM has owned up that he made quite possibly the worst 1st round pick in the history of the NBA. Why? Because he failed to look at the big picture.

You exaggerated by leaving the fact out that kf had 3 bad seasons in a row, fans did not turn on him after only 1. 2010 was the worst of the 3.

As far as the other stuff about the draft, anyone can say that after the fact but no one was making those arguments before the fact in that disscusion. It was stricktly an on court disscusion.

Losing does that to coaches. But honestly, at the end of the game, Bo Ryan's face showed a cluelessness I've never seen. It's like he's out of ideas in terms of what to do with that team.

I had almost conceded that Wisconsin would finish ahead of Iowa this year because their schedule seemed SO much easier. But who'd have ever predicted three B1G losses in the Kohl Center, let alone consecutively.

Careful... We be getting dangerously close to witnessing 3 consecutive losses at carver if they come out with the same game on Saturday.

Case in point that fans everywhere have the "what have you done for me lately" mentality. Some on this board like to call out our fans as being over the top and bandwagon, etc. EVERY fanbase is the same -at its core.
