BADGER BLOOD ALL OVER THE FLOOR SEMI OFFICIAL GAME THREAD

I can’t read every page but does anyone know how many times “ youknowwho “ said in passing that Connor’s lack of scoring is going to cost this team ...

Iowa probably should not have won, but did, the best outcome possible, come from behind vs Wisconsin grabbers.

Toussaint is going to be causing lots of trouble for the rest of the year, gaining experience and confidence. The Little Bulldog.
Wisconsin was grabbing, hip checking, undercutting, holding, and mauling all night, and getting away with at least as much as was called.

With less mauling we can move in our half court easier and we score our usual 75-85 points.

The tide changed when Toussaint got the and one on Davison. In the Kohl Center that might have been a charge on Joe.

Whatever Bo Ryan taught. Mugging, handsy, chest bumping little pieces of squeeky curds

For years, I've always thought that UW just fouled so much that the refs can't possibly keep up, and get habituated to UW's "football on wood" style.

If fouls are actually called on those grabbers, they are pretty pedestrian.

They are taught that way because they are so limited athletically. White guys who just got out of bed style.

Do you suppose they have drills for that at practice? Maybe they bring in some student managers wearing cups to act as targets?

Really similar to what Huggins does. His teams just foul so much the refs just can't call of them. In the end they are allowed to play that way.

That's just it. Wisconsin thought we were fucked.

Just like Michigan when they went up seven. Teams look at Iowa's history and think they can land the knockout punch when they have Iowa on the ropes.

By the time teams figure out that this Iowa team is different, its too late.

It's been 4 long years since we've been a team that folded under pressure. I don't many of today's players even know about those years. Fran miraculously quit being a poor end of game coach as soon as he got a new crop of players.

Badgers and Davison apparently do Not learn from their costly mistakes

any of Frans teams before this , this would have been a loss
I'm not sure why so many people keep saying this. Last year's team never quit either. We stole 3 games in a row from the jaws of defeat. We came back strong against Cincinnati in the tournament and won. Then we was a point away from the biggest comeback in NCAA tournament history.

Toussaint bailed us out tonight with a gutsy performance. Why did Fran bench him for so long in the second half?

Great win to grind that one out when it clearly wasn’t our night.

I think Toussaint getting benched for long periods will become more and more rare.

Old narratives die hard, there are still fans that think Connor is getting minutes over Joe T even tho they literally both start

There was a stretch of last nights game in the second half where Connor was playing PG and Joe T sat. I know this because Bakari and JT shared the backcourt last night for some time in the first half and finished with 11 minutes and 25 minutes respectively.

I get your general point though but I did notice that last night and was confused why Joe T wasn’t back out there.
