Debating 56 is easy, I can make him look foolish all day long and twice on Saturday. Just avoid his stupid strawmen he throws out there, and hit him with all his inconsistencies.

Nobody ever said 1 win/lose defines a team (56 Strawmen here). Everyone has said since the beginning that Iowa is better, because they are better, and are playing better.

He claims that he is pumping up ISU because of a current KenPom ranking that he then later claims that ISU can't even keep up through the year (so why does he think they will drop if they ONLY reason he thinks they are good is KenPom)? He should be absolutely devoted to the notion that KenPom is 100% current about ISU future standing is tied to their current ranking. Yet he isn't, now he doesn't think KenPom is right, and they will slip? Based on what, he claims to have not seen them play???

All of this is good stuff. 56 doesn't realize any of this is even happening. 56 doesn't know he lost the debate long ago. 56 actually thinks people believe he is a Hawk fan. I troll the shit out of the trolls. Always have, and always will. I get under the skin of the guys who get joy out of getting under other's skin. This is why the dirty 30 despise me. I haven't had this much fun since I was able to troll the shit out of VintageHawkeye.

I will say this about 56, he did confuse me for awhile. His obsession with me convinced me that he was part of the dirty 30. Now I'm 110% certain he is just Cytwins (or possibly one of another couple Clowntown posters).

Plus Donovan Jackson was supposed to be this huge impact JUCO transfer for them. They spent all offseason making fun of the Hawks for signing Bohannon and so far he's made 10x the impact for Iowa than Jackson has for ISU.

I'm almost with you, but I want to see what they do to open Big12 play. They still have talent, and I have learned over the years not to write a team off too early. They have struggled big time vs decent P5 teams. Nobody thinks Iowa is some great team, and they exposed ISU pretty badly. Texas Tech is improved, but are they legit and it is at Hilton?? Then they go to Baylor, can they hang with them? Then ISU plays at home vs Texas. They need to be 2-1 and not drop either home game. If they lose one of those home games vs Texas or Texas Tech, that is a bad, bad sign.

You were wrong about me the first time and you're wrong about me again. You talk about ISU 10 times more than I do but because I think our PG situation is not good and I don't like KF's outdated no visit policy I'm an ISU fan. Thanks for the entertainment Dean

he aint wrong about PG - Iowa has a great young PG who will just continue to get better. Might end up breaking some assists records for Iowa as a frosh. Maybe the best PG to come to Iowa since ??? When? Horner maybe?

You can't possibly think Bohannon is better than Mike. Dean says we can't talk about defense but even you will admit that he's not a good defender and he's got the third worst offensive rating on the team ahead of only Dom and CW. His offensive rating is 13.4 points behind Mike's last year which is a huge gap
 
You keep comparing a true frosh to a senior like that means something...and no, he's not as good as MG was as a senior ... he might not be as good as MG as a freshman, but he certainly can get there. The story hasn't been written yet on this kid and so far he's way ahead of where I thought he would be. Now, I think he could be the best PG we've had in over a decade.

Mike was better as a freshman offensively and defensively than Bohannon has been so far. That could change but I could see the Big Ten being a grind for him. A lot of players hit the freshman wall and there will be more film on him.

They are going to get smoked by Baylor. I think Texas Tech could beat them as well. I wouldn't be shocked to see them start off B12 play 0-2 with a home showdown against Texas dictating whether or not their entire season just collapses on them.

yup he's still got a long ways to go - and I am sure there will be a wall hit for him - it happens with most. You keep saying that Mike as better offensively as a frosh - which makes no sense considering JB averages more points, assists has already eclipsed MG's single game high for the season twice in his first 11 games. Also, you NEVER take into account that players can get better. What they are right now, is not necessarily what they always will be right? You already wrote of Wagner, which IMO is a huge mistake - and one you already made with Moss.

Mike had a better offensive rating by quite a bit than Bohannon does now. Bohannon shooting 30% from the floor doesn't help his efficiency. I don't remember writing off Wagner, he's a solid role player and that's about it
 
his ceiling is higher then a solid roll player - just because that's what he is as a soph doesn't mean that's where he ends up. But you already wrote off that entire class remember? You've told every one as much for months. Take your offensive and defensive ratings and shove them up your butt hole cause people with eyes can see that JBO>MG offensively early on in their careers and it's not even close.

Bohannon is shooting 12% inside the arc, Mike shot 46% from inside the arc as a freshman. Mike averaged more points as a freshman on less shots than Bohannon is now so maybe you should get your eyes checked

I'm fine with that but if you are going to say things as least be accurate. Bohannon could end up having a better season than Mike did as a freshman but right now Mike is leading the pack
