Just got a call from a friend and hawk fan who heard Hoiberg met with his players and a jet is waiting for him at the airport to whisk him to Chicago.

Anyone else heard this? I usually wait for the ink to dry but not this time.

I'm glad Hoiburg is gone, but ISU still has a very good team coming back next year. If anything they should be able to get a decent coach to come in and coach a top 10 program for a season or two before moving up the ladder to a bigger better name.

Gonna be tough to transfer out. Burton, McKay, Cooke, Nadar they all have burned their RS or more sitting and waiting to play for Da Mayor. Long is injured, Thomas isn't that good, so they aren't going anywhere. It would be hilarious if Niang up and transfers, that would be Karma of the highest order.

lots of talk that Hornacek has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way in Ames. He's been a bit of a jerk to people when back for charity events etc, and had a little rub over getting his expenses paid for a visit. Rumors that there's more.
