Anyone else heading to the Well today to watch Woodrow?

Woodbury certainly isn't doing too much in this game so far. Not dominating anyway. Valley is beating on him tho.
 
End of 3rd Qtr: SC East leads 48-42. Valley coming back.
Woodbury is 3-3 with 6 points, 7 rebs, 3 blocks

Jok is 1-7 with 4 points
Abrahamson is 2-6 8 points
 
Who won? I believe KCRG is televising and streaming the rest of the tournament starting tomorrow. Channel 9.2 for Thursday and Friday and the finals on 9.1 Saturday.

All of the games for the tourney are streaming on the Iowa High School sports network. 10 bucks and you get to watch every tourney game. It uses the older flash player so likely ok at work too.

I heard on Murph and Andy that a lot of people were tweeting that Woody didn't look that impressive. These stats certainly aren't terrible. Was there anyone there who can testify to how exactly he looked?
 
Woodbury is the kind of kid who will look better in college. He's not a great athlete and that generally seperates guys in HS. He can be doubled down on quite easy. More spacing in college and hard to double him with Gessell out top. I think he will be a good player for us despite his lack of production in HS games at times

It is my understanding that he is ALWAYS double and triple teamed in high school. He shines in AAU because everybodys good and you can't double or triple team anyone.

Yep. I would be concerned if I was Northwestern though. It's easy to double a post man but a wing like Kale? He should be able to score 20 every game in HS with ease.

Woodbury will help next year simply by taking pressure off guy like White and Besabe down low. He doesn't need to make any all b10 teams to really help this team. If he can catch and score or pass well down low and in traffic, block out and body up without drawing a whistle every time, our post game should make huge strides.


I doubt Adam will be looked at next year to be much of a scorer at all.
