Alabama/Texas Thread

I re-watched that hands to the face call 5 times and I just can't see it. There was nothing obvious or blatant that even made it look like it, hand was at the top of the shoulder pads.

I saw him barely nick the facemask, but there wasn't near enough for there to be a call

From what I have seen, I think Iowa beats either of these teams. The only team I have seen in a bowl game that I think Iowa struggles with is Florida. Their offense was lights out. But then again I think most high school teams could put up 30 against Cincinnati defense.

But on the other hand, I would hate to see Iowa get screwed by the officials playing against an SEC team the way Texas is tonight.

They did.

Never mind the Tate pick 6, Iowa giving up a punt return TD, or the Hawks sleeping through the first 3 quarters.

There were some brutal, horrible, terrible calls in that game that went against Iowa, but none of them cost Iowa the game.

You dont think that maybe it would be possible to get things going a little better if you aren't flagged for tackling, or flagged for getting ripped down by your facemask?

Yeah but that onside kick cost us a chance to tie the game. Football is a 60 minute game and they cut it a minute or two short.
