adam Robinson kicked off team

I'm no prude, but smoking pot while suspended for a bowl game is just asking to be kicked off the team.

I still say recruit 2-3 running backs every year, and plan on playing them as freshmen.
 
I have a hard time feeling sorry for him. I want to, but being suspended from the team to clean up your act, and putting yourself in a situation like what he did, purely idiotic. I do hope that he gets help with his problem/addiction. God speed, A-Rob.
 
Glad Kirk did it. Have to set an example to these guys that you can't be an idiot! I wish him luck, and am thankful for the effort he gave ON THE FIELD. But to be a student athlete you have to work just as hard off the field and he did not!
 
ICHawk24 -- I feel sorry for you if you think having an open container of beer in University Heights is equal to Adam Robinson's transgressions.
 
It is consistent with Kirk's other disciplinary actions to be more strict with older players and with players who have previous transgressions. Its not a big surprise.

It would be illogical to think that this decision was based soley on the recent charges brought against him. Come on dude.

Kirk has all the information (or at least a lot more than we do) and he has a proven track record for giving guys a second chance for reasonable, "college" mistakes.
 
Sad, but necessary I'm afraid. Hopefully he can land on his feet somewhere. He sure wasted a great opportunity.
 
I hope for A-rob his situation turns out like Benny Sapp or James Cleveland and not like Dominique Douglas.
