nope. it means I'm against racest comments
I understand. But this was in jest. When we can't laugh with each other, we have gone over the edge...and this was said in a very innocuous way.

Aaron plays pretty hard with a lot of intensity. He seems to have learned how to pace himself because his conditioning is much better as the season goes on.Back to A. White. Hope he stays healthy. He seems a little gimpy at times and had a wrap on his calf.
He is so long. I remember being frustrated about big guys who don't dunk but that is not a concern for AW. He seems to enjoy dunking on people. Very nasty and determined.
ExactlyWhite is absolutely fearless and whoever said he needs to work on his midrange game is absolutely correct. If he gets that shot to go with his driving ability, uh yeah.
This kid can just flat out play and knows how to play the game.
He works at his game constantly which is why he will continue to get nothing but better.
To all those that were concerned when Iowa signed him, are you okay with that signing now?
Who does White remind you of folks? Settles? and it may be too early, but maybe Street?
Reminds me of Jesse Settles a lot, but he plays underneath like Ryan Bowen. Little bit of both in him, I think. At times his play reminds me of Greg Brunner when he attacks the basket.....Who does White remind you of folks? Settles? and it may be too early, but maybe Street?
he reminds me a lot of Brunner. Especially the way he's always around the ball. I also think that his length will work wonders for him on the defensive end if he has to guard smaller/quicker players. Just making a guy take a longer route around you forces them to be slower at getting to where they want to be. And length allows a defender to be able to close out from a further distance, making it even harder for the offense to drive .
He still reminds me of Kevin Boyle. He does a little of everything right and he is a damned pest out there on the court!
i think with experience, White's, for lack of a better word "gawkiness" will go away. Not sure that Settles' ever did. Jess, however, made up for it with hustle and determination. I think Aaron will wind up much smoother than Jess.. any thoughts?
You can't be sarcastic here, you have to put the faces behind it, or people think you are serious... Overreaction is common practice here.I understand. But this was in jest. When we can't laugh with each other, we have gone over the edge...and this was said in a very innocuous way.
jeez I guess I needed some of those faces. I thought it was obvious but I guess not
Settles doesn't get hurt we would be wondering where he fits on the all-time list of the great Hawks.
Settles was McCabe's size with a lot more tenacity and talent, he also had good ball handling skills and could shoot. His career would be viewed differently if he didn't have the back issue.
Aaron is a smooth player, but he has a ways to go to compare to what Settles could accomplish. For the record, White is quickly becoming my favorite all-time Hawk, I enjoy what he does and his overall game is getting better as the season has come along. A lot of times freshman go the other way as the season goes on.
Settles was taller than McCabe and allot more athletic.
I dont see many similarities in Settles and Whites games.
Apparently people have forgotten how good Settles was as a freshman before his back problems. Settles as a freshman would easily be the best player on this team.
