Aaron White praise!

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with what White did after the two handed slam in the face of Frazier. You have got to be kidding me if someone is complaining a kid shows a little bit of emotion after a terrific play. Taunting is if White would have talked trash, followed Frazier down the court, got in his ear at the other end of the court, etc. We have a coach who wears emotion on his shirt sleeve, yet we can't have players who also demonstrate a little bit of emotion at times? Ok. Terrific. Makes sense.

In PhotoHawk's photos, you can see Frazier's forearm slamming Aaron on the side of the face. He already had the ball in the basket when he was hit. Nasty play by Frazier. Absolutely appropriate response by AW, much better than getting all puffy and pushing Frazier or something like that. Refs could have called a foul on the play, but didn't. letting the game go on, which I liked.....

i missed the replay, all really watched was the dunk and forcefull it was, i really like it;
it shows that he won't back down from anyone, just like Marbles dunk on Sampson, i would love to see that more often out of Basabe rather than some of those reverse layups that get blocked,
i didn't critizes White at the time, a stare down like that can get a T and kill momentum

I dont disagree. Sometimes (emphasize "sometimes") a stare will indeed get you t'd up. WHO CARES? It's NOT gonna kill momentum and will only fire up the kid / team even more. As long as there is minimal trash talk and zero pushing / shoving, I wanna see White stare, growl, yell, etc all he wants after a play like that. Fran wants the exact same thing. We have a kid here who will back down to nobody and nothing. It's a treat to watch.

Hawks getting some attention on the intro to BTN Basketball and Beyond. The ask the question, Is the Big Ten the Toughest Conference?, then show a few players driving to the basket, Gatens among them. Then they show White's put back dunk in the Minnesota game. They close with Herky prancing in front of the crowd at Carver......

Starting to get some attention and a little bit of respect. Been a long time coming and feels good.....

During one of their afternoon shows, they opened up with their usual tributes to OSU and MSU owning the league, etc and then Revsine brings up Iowa as being a team that will most likely not make the NCAA tournament, but who is going to have a say in who does and is a dangerous team that has to be dealt with. Nice to be at least back in the conversation.
